5 Easy Exercises for Abs

Most men want the perfect sculpted abs and even more women want toned female abs. Corporations have been banking on this “need” and have developed instant diet pills and no work out exercise machines.There is no easy way to getting the perfect tummy.  If you have always wanted those washboard six-packs, then you should try these exercises for abs.

Imaginary Bicycle.

It’s simple imitating the movement made when riding a bicycle.When lifting your shoulders and legs, isolate the abdominal area while laying flat on the floor.You can add an endurance workout by rorating your arms in place while pedalling in mid air.A better workout can be done by adding breathing patters while pedalling in mid air.Your oblique areas also feel the tension during this exercise as it does not only focus on your abdominal area.

Leg Lifts.

Kepping still and straight, raise your leg to an angle.You can add wieghts to your legs while doing th exercise as you move along.After moving your leg to a 45 or 90 degree angle, you can bring your knees towards your body for resistance.

Crunches.

Lie flat on the floor put your arms on your chest, slightly bend your knees (still on the ground) and raise your body to your knees using your abdominal muscles.This helps develop you muscles.You can keep your legs in mid air, suspended by your abdomen while doing crunches to make it more effective.Pause for as long as you can for additional resistance.To avoid strain, do not attempt to lift your entire back.

Twists.

These variations help give more challenge to your regular routines.Go on a diagonal motion while laying flat on the floor. Returning from left to center to right.This exercise trims your oblique areas.

Statics.

Assume the typical push up position, only this time, use your elbows for support.  Hold this position for a minute on the average (for beginners), and aim go longer in the succeeding repeats.These exercises were designed to workout the entire body.This exercise can be adjusted so you can do side static holds as well.
